Since 1969, Orleans Essex VNA & Hospice has been a community based non-profit home health care service provider. We provide a full range of high-quality home health and hospice services to the people, who need them, in Orleans and northern Essex counties. Our patients receive treatment of illness or injury in the comfort and privacy of their own home. A nurse is on-call twenty four hours a day to triage emergency issues assuring our patients receive the medical attention they need to get well, stay well, and remain independent. Equally important is our role in providing end of life care for those individuals who desire quality of life when faced with a terminal diagnosis.

Home Health Care involves clients and their families and includes a comprehensive plan of treatment and rehabilitation, made in collaboration with the client’s primary care provider. This plan include both acute and chronic care services.
